During my Sales and Management Internship, I gained invaluable experience in various facets of retail operations. I was actively involved in the development and execution of sales strategies, supporting efforts in merchandising by helping to select and position products for maximum impact. This role gave me an in-depth understanding of how merchandising decisions directly influence consumer behavior and sales performance.
I also had the opportunity to assist in the buying process, where I learned how inventory is managed and how data-driven decisions guide these processes. Collaborating with the management team, I participated in meetings, which allowed me to see how these strategies are developed and implemented at a high level.
This internship not only enhanced my understanding of retail management but also strengthened my skills in communication, problem-solving, and leadership, preparing me for a successful career in the retail industry.
